Divine Allegiance
Follow one of five gods: Devotion, ranks, blessings, Divine Rage, Renown, prestige, faction events and invasions.
Divine Allegiance is Aetheria's custom progression system. You follow one of five gods: Saradomin, Zamorak, Guthix, Bandos or Armadyl. Serving your god earns Devotion, which raises your rank and unlocks blessings. Landing hits fills Divine Rage, unleashed as your god's ultimate. Along the way you take commissions, pass Divine Trials, earn Concord Renown for cosmetic prestige, and fight for your faith in world events.
Choosing a god
- Every character is offered the choice once, at their next login (for a new character, after the design screen).
- Decide later keeps the offer open: type
::godor visit the Hall of the Five whenever you are ready. - Not sure which to pick? Compare the five gods.
The Hall of the Five
The hub of Divine Allegiance stands beside Edgeville Monastery. Type ::hall, or find it in the teleport menu under Places → Aetheria. There you will find:
- the High Priest, who handles your allegiance;
- a representative and an altar for each god;
- the Commission Board (Divine Commissions);
- the Oracle, who starts Divine Trials;
- the Priest, who sells prestige rewards for Renown.
Changing gods
You can change gods at the Hall (the High Priest, a representative or an altar) at any time, with no cooldown, except in combat (or within 10 seconds of it), in the Wilderness or during a trial.
- Devotion, trials and blessing loadouts are kept separately for each god. Come back to a god and everything is as you left it.
- Only the god you follow gives you powers. Changing ends your Rage and any temporary divine effects.

Divine Rage
The Rage bar sits at the top of the game screen. Every hit you land fills it; when it is full, click it (or type ::rage) to unleash your god's ultimate. Right-click the bar to open the Divine panel.
| Bar | 0 to 1,000 |
|---|---|
| Per landed hit | 30 + 2 × the damage (damage counted up to 40, and up to the target's hitpoints) |
| Reduced | Half against players; a quarter against weak monsters (below a quarter of your combat level, minimum 5) |
| Nothing from | Misses, divine bonus strikes, training dummies, or hits while raging |
| Out of combat | Held for 60 seconds, then fades |
| Duration | About 20 seconds (24 with your god's mastery). It ends early on death, logout or a god change. |
| God | Ultimate | When unleashed | While raging |

| Armadyl | Judgement of Armadyl | Three precision strikes, one a tick | +10% damage, +15% accuracy, 20% chance of divine wind |
Blessings
Each god has a signature blessing (always on, stronger with every rank), six passives (two unlock at each of Disciple, Adept and Champion), two Divine Aspects (Champion) and one mastery (Ascendant). You equip the signature, two passives, one aspect and the mastery in the Blessings tab of the Divine panel. Every god's blessings are on its page, for example Saradomin's blessings.
Balance limits
- Divine damage bonuses add together, then Rage multiplies them, up to ×1.35 against monsters and ×1.15 in PvP.
- Accuracy bonuses are capped at ×1.25 (×1.10 in PvP); damage reductions at 30% (15% in PvP).
- Divine healing is at most 10% of your hitpoints every 10 seconds, halved in PvP.
- Bonus strikes count as your hits for kills and experience, deal half damage to players, and never fill Rage.
Concord Renown
Renown is shared across all your gods. You earn 20 Renown per 100 Devotion with any god, plus commissions (+10 routine, +30 greater), trials (+100 / +250 on first clear, +10 for replays up to 3 a day) and events. Changing gods never earns extra Renown.
Spend Renown on prestige rewards and weapon infusions, or use Renown earned with other gods to cover up to 25% of a god's early ranks (100 of Disciple, 500 in total). Renown never counts toward Champion or Ascendant.
Prestige
Prestige rewards are cosmetic, bought from the Priest in the Hall with Renown, separately for each god:
| Reward | Rank needed | Renown | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Devotion emote | Disciple | 40 | Kneel before your god in a column of its light (the Emote button in the Divine panel). |
| God cape | Adept | 80 (replacement 20) | Your god's cape or cloak. A lost one is replaced for a quarter of the price. |
| Companion glow | Champion | 120 | Your pet shines with your god's light whenever you unleash Rage. |
| God title | Champion | 150 | A title shown before your name in chat and on the Divine panel. |
| Weapon radiance | Champion | 100 | Infused weapons flash with your god's light on one hit in eight. |
| Divine aura | Ascendant | 400 | Your god's aura surrounds you every 15 s out of combat, while you follow that god. |
Weapon infusions
At your god's altar (the Infuse tab), infuse your wielded weapon with your god for 250,000 coins and 25 Renown. You can have 3 infusions (4 at Champion, 5 at Ascendant), and removing one is free. An infused weapon deals +1% damage while you follow that god (inside the damage cap) and shows the radiance visual if you own Weapon radiance. Infusions belong to your account for that weapon type: stats never change, and banking, trading and death work as normal.
Pet synergies
While any pet follows you, fighting or not, your god gives you a small bonus:
| God | Bonus while any pet follows you |
|---|---|
| Saradomin | 2% less damage taken in combat |
| Zamorak | +2% damage while raging |
| Guthix | 1 hitpoint every 15 seconds in combat |
| Bandos | +2% melee damage |
| Armadyl | +3% ranged accuracy |
Faction events
A faction event starts every two hours, announced five minutes ahead, at one of three sites outside the Wilderness: east of Varrock, south of Falador or north of Draynor Village. The events rotate:
- Concord Defense: hold a site against three waves.
- Divine Supremacy: worthy kills and god skills score for your faith.
- Faction Slayer Challenge.
- Divine Resource Campaign: gathering and crafting.
- God Champion: a world boss.
Zarosian invasions
Zaros is the enemy of all five gods, never one to follow. In a Zarosian invasion, three waves of Dominion-branded creatures, Zarosian zealots and a marked priority target attack, followed by a commander scaled to the defenders. Invasions last 25 minutes, and invaders drop nothing. Each faith has its own objective: Saradomin holds the line, Zamorak hunts zealots, Guthix the branded beasts, Armadyl the priority targets, and Bandos the commander (double contribution). Invasions are started by the team as special events.
Event rewards
Events and invasions pay players with at least 20 contribution: Renown (10 for an event, 15 for an invasion; more for success, the winning faith and faith objectives) and up to 40 / 60 Devotion. If you are offline when an event ends, you are paid at your next login.
The Divine panel
The Aetheria emblem in the sidebar (or ::divine) opens the Divine panel, with the tabs Overview, Blessings, Tasks, Trials, Prestige, Infuse and Events.
